Captain Quinn is no stranger to the maritime world having served for 37 years in the Royal Navy. He is chair of the board of directors and trustees of the Royal Naval and Royal Marine Charity. In this role, he has overseen the incorporation and modernisation of this important naval charity. Paul is also a trustee of the Royal Naval Roman Catholic Trust and chair of governors of Oaklands Catholic School in Hampshire.
He brings to AOS valuable experience of human resource management having latterly been responsible for personnel, chaplaincy and administrative support for the 27,000 British naval personnel in the front line.
Paul and his wife Liz are parishioners at St Colman’s with St Paul’s in Havant where they are active in parish life and in the deanery youth programme. They have two daughters: Julia, a teacher and Sarah, a nurse.
Captain Quinn arrived at the national office in London on 1 April. Having spent time visiting various ports with outgoing director Chris York, he took control on 17 April. The staff of AOS GB are delighted to welcome him aboard.
