Davao, Christmas 2006
The Stella Maris Centre in the port of Davao hosted a Christmas party for wives and children of Filipino seafarers.
Father Jack Walsh, AOS port chaplain in Davao reports
"We had over a 100 wives and children here for the long evening of fun and games, eating and soft drinking. A good time was had by all, as you can see. It is a blessing for us to have this Stella Maris Center so that we can accommodate such activities for the seafarers' families and children."

This young lad was celebrating his fifth birthday. His mother contributed a traditional "lechon" or roast pig to the party.
