Stella Maris liturgical resource booklet

In 2005, Cardinal Francis Arinze, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments, authorised the insertion of a Feast of Our Lady, Star of the Sea on the last Thursday of September in the proper of the Calendar of the Bishopric of the Forces in Great Britain and for all those associated with the Apostleship of the Sea. This date is also marked around the world as World Maritime Day.

In order to facilitate observance of this feastday, and to promote devotion to Our Lady Stella Maris at all times, AOS GB has compiled a booklet of liturgical resources including:

  • Liturgy of the Hours
  • Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Stella Maris
  • Novena to Our Lady Stella Maris
  • Rosary prayer intentions
  • Bidding prayers
  • School assembly or children's liturgy
